Our History
The Motts House was originally built in 1864 by Samuel R. Mott, the founder of Mott's Apple Juice. Mott constructed the house originally for himself and his wife, Ann, as a second home away from their primary residence in Saratoga, NY. The house welcomed notable businessmen and politicians of the era, including future president Calvin Coolidge and US Senator Levi P. Morton. Throughout generations and dozens of sales over the past century, the house has maintained it's exterior structure, outdoor property, and various records and artifacts from its original owners.
